Eric Soto
Coach Soto is originally from El Paso, Texas, and he has been coaching volleyball for a total of 26 years. He has coached both middle school and high school volleyball at the 3A - 6A classifications in Texas. This will be his fifth year serving as the head coach of the Raider volleyball program. In addition, he has coached for various USA club volleyball programs for ages 13 - 17 in the Austin area. Coach Soto is IMPACT certified, CPR/First Aid/AED trained, and is a member of the Texas Girls Coaches Association, the Texas High School Coaches Association, and the American Volleyball Coaches Association. He is a World Geography teacher at Cedar Ridge High School and is married and has three children and one grandchild. Outside of volleyball, he enjoys cooking and listening to live music.
JV

Erika Richardson
Coach Richardson is an alumni of Cedar Ridge High School class of 2018. She has a Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University - Texarkana, where she was a student-athlete in the softball program. During her time at Cedar Ridge, she lettered all four years in softball while also being named District Newcomer of the Year, District MVP, and a part of four district titles. While at TAMUT, she was part of a Red River Athletic Conference championship team and acquired tournament MVP. Since graduating from TAMUT, she has been an Assistant Softball Coach at Howard Payne University. She is currently a Business teacher at Cedar Ridge and is entering her second year of coaching volleyball and softball. Her hobbies include baking and spending time with her friends and family.
Freshman

Breanna Hernandez
Coach Hernandez is a former 2017 graduate of Cedar Ridge, as well as graduating from both Temple College and Louisiana Tech University. During her time at Cedar Ridge, she lettered all four years in softball while acquiring district newcomer of the year, three times district pitcher of the year, and MVP. Throughout coach Hernandez’s collegiate softball career, she received NJCAA First Team All-American, Pitcher of the Year, Division l Midwest Region First Team awards, as well as Division l Pitcher of the Week while at Louisiana Tech University. She will be entering her 2nd year of the Special Education Department and her 3rd year of coaching volleyball and softball. Outside of volleyball, coach Hernandez enjoys being outdoors and on the water.
